Turea “Midge” Grice Wildlife Pastels

Ptarmigan Arts Gallery welcomes Midge Grice for our July First Friday Pop-up weekend show on July 2nd and 3rd.

Midge Grice is a self-taught artist who specializes in wildlife, pet portraits, and children’s portraits.  “I attribute my love for wildlife from my growing up in northwest Montana amidst Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park.  I have been living in Alaska for the last 25 years.”

Midge says, “I was able to dabble with my grandfather’s pastels as a child.  Now that I have retired, I am able to put more time into my art.  Nature has given us so much beauty, how can I not enjoy putting it on paper.”

Midge will have several originals and prints available on Friday and Saturday.  She is also available for commissions.

Midge’s Pop-up weekend show will be on display Friday July 2nd from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. (extended hours on First Friday), and Saturday July 3rd from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Don’t forget to stop by the gallery and meet Midge and then enjoy her beautiful wildlife pastels (examples below).  See you there!
