Ptarmigan Arts is kicking off the holiday shopping season with double the fun! Our gallery is one of 25 local businesses participating in the Chamber of Commerce’s “Shop Local Bingo” event. Get your Bingo card stamped anytime between Friday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Dec. 1, for a chance to win one of several valuable prize packages donated by Homer businesses. No purchase is necessary. If you need a card to start your game we’ll have those available for you.
Everyone needs stocking stuffers — small, lightweight, easy to wrap, easy to ship, easy to tuck into a traveling bag, and easy on the wallet items for gift exchanges or as “add on” gifts for friends and family. Our artists are up to the challenge and have been busy creating unique little gifts to help you start or finish your holiday shopping. Step into our Back Room Gallery Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 and select the perfect locally-crafted item for that special person on your list. You’ll find coasters, calendars, sun catchers, magnets, journals, fiber arts, leather goods, coloring books, tote bags and zippered pouches, coffee scoops, knitted items, small paintings, and a few surprises that are new to Ptarmigan Arts. We’ll have lots of ornaments, gift tags, and seasonal cards as well.
The “Shop Local” weekend of Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 is the perfect time to get out and about, find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, and support Homer’s local artist cooperative. Gallery hours are 11 am to 5 pm daily.
