PTARMIGAN ARTS

A LOCAL COOPERATIVE GALLERY

“Here a Bird, There a Bird” Show for May 3-12

Ptarmigan Arts is pleased to host a show of bird-themed artwork from May 3-12, 2024. “Here a Bird, There a Bird” opens at 10 am on First Friday and extends through the final day of the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival. The show features the work of 18 gallery artists and includes new items as well as classic favorites.

With a name like Ptarmigan Arts, it is no surprise that our co-op gallery’s artists have a particular appreciation for birds. Some of our artists are professional biologists or wildlife managers. Others are teachers, photographers, or full-time artisans. “Here a Bird, There a Bird” provides a window into the many ways Homer’s avian friends influence and enrich our lives.

All artwork is for sale and can be taken at the time of purchase. The local UPS Store has extended a 10% discount on shipping for purchases made at the show.

Ptarmigan Arts’ summer hours of 10 am to 6 pm daily begin on May 1. The gallery will be open until 7 pm on Friday, May 3, for Homer’s First Friday art walk.
