Happy 10th Birthday

Join the artists of Ptarmigan Arts Gallery in celebrating the 10^th birthday of our co-op on June 1. The gallery has been known and loved in Homer since 1984, but only for the past ten years has it been a true cooperative owned and operated by the artists of Ptarmigan Arts Cooperative Corporation.

Artists have come and gone over the years, as life events occurred and moves took place, but with a current membership of 37 owner-artists our co-op is thriving. Members serve as officers (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and manager), fill the 15 spots on the board of directors, lead and work on committees, and act as “artist of the day” and cashier approximately one day per month. We all share the responsibility of operating the gallery – and we all share the profit at the end of the year.

We’re so happy to be a part of the Homer community and grateful for the support of our customers. Thanks for helping us reach this 10^th birthday milestone.
