Ptarmigan Arts is kicking off the holiday shopping season with double the fun! Our month-long holiday show titled “Deck the Walls” opens at 11 am on Friday, November 28. Gallery members have been busy creating artwork especially designed for gift-giving. The show also features unique handcrafted ornaments for your tree or for display year-round.
You’ll find pottery, jewelry, fabric arts, cozy knitted items, paintings, seasonal cards, woodcraft, mixed media, coasters, keychains, gift wrap, wall hangings and table runners, and much more.
Our gallery is one of 36 local businesses participating in the Chamber of Commerce’s “Shop Local Bingo” event. Get your Bingo card stamped anytime between Friday, Nov. 28 and Sunday, Nov. 30 for a chance to win one of seven fabulous prize packages. No purchase is necessary. If you need a card to start your game we’ll have those available for you.
The “Shop Local” weekend of Nov. 28 to 30 is the perfect time to get out and about, find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, and support Homer’s local artist cooperative.
“Deck the Walls” runs through December 28. Gallery hours are 11 am to 5 pm daily with extended First Friday hours until 7 pm on December 5. From December 6 to 24, the gallery will be open until 6 pm for your shopping convenience.
