Ptarmigan Arts Back Room Gallery (BRG) presents Take Your Best Shot for our September show. This is an open show (the Homer community has been invited to submit their best shots) displaying the community’s best photos of Homer. This show, in conjunction with the Alaska World Arts Festival, celebrates Homer and its community’s vision of our iconic landscape, our bountiful wildlife, our quirks, our hidden gems. Take Your Best Shot will be part of the Alaska World Arts Festival activities in Homer and is part of their promotional materials.
There will be People’s Choice prizes in Adult and Junior (15 and under) categories. Everyone is invited to come in and vote for their favorite photograph until September 18th. Winners will be announced on September 19th (the conclusion of the Alaska World Arts Festival).
The opening reception for Take Your Best Shot will be on First Friday September 6th from 4-7 p.m. All are welcome to see the best shots of the Homer area by Ptarmigan Arts members and Homer residents. Should be fun (and don’t forget to vote for your favorite)!
